Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Stephen is a serial entrepreneur and seasoned business executive with over 30 years of experience establishing and growing successful companies with a proven expertise in merchant payment services.
Prior to co-founding Easy Pay LLC with Michelle Boudette and Jennifer McBrierty, Stephen started and grew PowerPay, a registered ISO of HSBC and subsequently Deutsche Bank. At PowerPay, he conceived and executed a strategy for building a payment services provider attractive to both merchants and referral partners, which resulted in rapid growth and greater profitability through less dependence on traditional merchant acquisition models with exceptional service and relationship management. In 2008, PowerPay achieved Inc 500 status and in 2012 was acquired by EVO Payments International with 60,000 active customers and $2 billion in annual processing volume. At First Merchants Bancard Solutions, a registered ISO with Chittenden Bank, then WoodForest and eventually EVO/HSBC, Stephen built its merchant base to over 12,000 before its sale to iPayments.
In 2013, Stephen joined Zipline as CEO & President. At Zipline, Stephen was successful in guiding the management team in strategic planning and execution of Zipline’s initiative in alternative (decoupled debit) payments, loyalty and mobile payments, with focus on improving operational efficiencies, developing new verticals and identifying synergistic partnerships.
Co-Founder & President
Michelle has over 25 years of sales and marketing management experience in the financial and payment processing industry, with an impressive track record at several successful start-ups, including AdvanceMe, Paylink, PowerPay and PowerPay Capital.
Prior to co-founding Easy Pay LLC, Michelle’s most recent tenure was at PowerPay where she held the executive role of Chief Sales and Marketing Officer and served as President to sister company PowerPay Capital. This 10-year span included managing a team of over 50 employees with oversight of business development, inside and outside sales, sales support, marketing, as well as presiding over operations, risk and underwriting for PowerPay Capital. Under Michelle’s leadership, PowerPay was recognized as an Inc. 500 fastest growing company for three consecutive years of growth exceeding 300%, and at its height was boarding over 3000 merchants per month. Michelle developed and cultivated several business verticals at PowerPay, including ecommerce, financial institutions, software partners, government related services, non-profits, universities and direct to consumer product marketing while cultivating over 500 agent/partner relationships. Prior to PowerPay, Michelle started and successfully ran her own company, Paylink, which offered funding and automation of vendor payments. Michelle’s additional experience includes a stint as Regional Vice President at Credit Card Center, an ATM distribution and service company, as well as working 5 years in sales with Deluxe Corporation.
Co-Founder & COO
Jennifer McBrierty brings 25 years of marketing, management and entrepreneurship to Easy Pay after starting and overseeing several successful direct marketing businesses. Prior to co-founding Easy Pay LLC with Michelle Boudette and Stephen Goodrich in 2016, Jennifer started and served as President and CEO of Cornerstone Marketing, Inc., which for 20 years has provided campaign management services to dozens of companies throughout the U.S and Canada. Jennifer is a seasoned marketing, operations and business development professional with proven results in new account and customer acquisition for high profile companies like TransAmerica, Clarus Commerce, Synapse Group, and Veteran’s Advantage. Prior to Cornerstone Marketing, Jennifer served as Director of Business Development, Sales and Marketing for Talk America, where for 9 years she negotiated and secured multi-million dollar licensing and vendor contracts, successfully built relationships with high-profile clients and assisted with the development and management of an in-house sales team. Working alongside the founder, Jennifer played an instrumental role in the exponential growth of the company to over $100 million in sales with 900 employees in only a few short years.
